Heart Copper Spatula

Simple and effective, the subtle details and heart finials on these utensils make them perfect for kitchen accent pieces.

Island Blacksmith: Hand forged ironwork.

These spatulae are made from split copper water pipe and are designed to reach into narrow areas to lift tightly spaced objects without disturbing the rest. A rectangular steel bar is textured, split, and curled to form a delicate heart shape on the end handle. Three antique copper plated aluminum rivets join the handle and blade. Handle is finished with hand rubbed combination wax and the copper is hand polished with charcoal powder and left natural to allow a patina to develop and to preserve its antibacterial qualities. Length is about 16″.
