Jikatabi & Footwear

Recommendations for those interested in traditional Japanese footwear for work and leisure.

Jikatabi are worn by most carpenters, gardeners, foresters, and outdoor workers in Japan. They are mostly cotton cloth with rubber soles and metal clip fasteners (kohaze). Similar to moccasins, they are flexible, comfortable, and cool to wear. Natural outdoor surfaces are the best places to wear jikatabi.

**Jikatabi and other footwear are separate orders directly from Amazon, if you follow the link from our site they will send us a small percentage of the order as an affiliate fee.
