This well-crafted kashira in shakudo (copper/gold alloy) has the motif of gold roofed pavilion (probably the pagoda in gion, kyoto), rooftops, and treetops under clouds and inlaid shibuichi (copper/silver alloy) moon, accented with delicate katakiribori chisel carving on the sides.
